Peter Houston has wished Scott Allan all the best as he embarks on the next chapter of his football career.

The 20-year old last night completed his move from Dundee United to West Bromwich Albion and the Tangerines boss feels it is the right move for the Scotland youth international.

"I'd like to wish Scott all the best for his future career, it is a fantastic opportunity for him to go down to the English Premier League," he told the club's official website.

"The completion of the deal at this time was beneficial for both the player and the club."
