Crystal Palace star Cheick Doucoure believes he will return from injury before the season concludes.

The 23-year-old had to leave the stadium on crutches after the club's 2-1 loss to Luton Town on Saturday.

While the Mali international is aware that he has a long road of rehabilitation, he is determined to miss less than the predicted six months.

Per The Standard, Palace are not being optimistic when they speak about his return.

However, the player is confident and has already been going through rehab this week.

Manager Roy Hodgson had stated post-game: “He's got a bad injury. It's not going to be an injury that keeps him out for a short period of time."
