Atletico Madrid have signed outright Yannick Carrasco.

Carrasco spent the second half of the 2019/20 campaign on loan at Atletico Madrid from Dalian Professional FC and now the Belgian has signed a permanent deal with the Spanish side.

He has put pen to paper on a contract that will keep him at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano until 2024.

This is Carrasco's second stint at Los Rojiblancos.

He'd previously played for the club between 2015 and 2018, before moving to China and then returning two years later.

Now, his rights are owned by Atletico Madrid once again.

"Our club has reached an agreement with Dalian Professional FC over the transfer of Yannick Carrasco," a statement started.

"The Belgian has signed a four-year contract and will continue at Atletico Madrid, where he played on loan during the second half of last season.

"The 27-year-old was key to our third-place finish in LaLiga, netting one goal and providing four assists in 16 games and helping us to secure Champions League football for the eighth straight season."
