Former Aston Villa defender Declan Frith is set for a chance to impress in Spain.
The left-back, who can also play as a left winger, was without a club after his Villa deal expired in the summer.
As he wanted regular football, Frith was not interested in renewing terms with Villa.
He has instead signed for Spanish giants Valencia on a one year contract this week.
Frith is a former Chelesa youth player who also spent time at Welling United in non-league football.
He played several games for Villa's Under-23 sides, but is now heading for the Mestalla.
