Swansea City have announced the signing of Atletico Madrid striker Borja Baston.

Swans have completed the signing of Atletico Madrid striker Borja Baston for a club-record fee of £15.5million, subject to international clearance.

The 23-year-old, who will wear squad number ten, has penned a four-year deal after undergoing a successful medical today.

His fee eclipses that of the £12m spent on acquiring Wilfried Bony from Vitesse Arnhem in July 2013.

Borja, as he is known, arrives at the Liberty just five days after fellow countryman and World Cup winner Fernando Llorente joined the Swans from Sevilla.
