Stoke City have signed Ben Pearson from Bournemouth.

The midfielder joins in a free transfer after spending the second-half of last season on-loan with the Potters.

Potters technical chief Ricky Martin said, "It was a big priority for us to secure Ben on a permanent deal. He knows what it means to play in the Championship.

"He has already built a good relationship with the fans, who like him because of his work ethic and his great passion on the field."

Pearson has signed a four-year deal with Stoke.
