Preston North End have snapped up Manchester City striker Liam Delap.

Delap ended his loan with Stoke City today and immediately signed for Preston to the end of the season.

"I'm delighted," said Delap. "It's such a fantastic club and I'm really excited to meet the guys and play in front of the fans.

"I've talked to the manager and I'm really happy with what he has to say and the football style he plays, so I can't wait to play under him."

Delap has a contract with Manchester City until the summer of 2026. Preston is in tenth place in the Championship.
