Former Everton striker Oumar Niasse is continuing his career in the lower leagues.
The 33-year-old has not played since he left Morecambe at the end of last season.
However, he has now signed for seventh-tier Macclesfield on a short-term deal.
Niasse could make his Macclesfield debut against Guiseley at The Leasing.com Stadium on Saturday.
Macclesfield have Alex Bruce as manager and Robbie Savage as their director of football.
Niasse signed for the Toffees back in 2016 from Lokomotiv Moscow for £13.5 million.
