DONE DEAL: Leicester finalise complicated deal for Udinese’s Molla Wague

Molla Wague has now joined Leicester City in what has been a complicated deal, says Sky Sports.

The Foxes have completed the loan signing of the Mali international defender who has joined from Udinese for the remainder of the season.

It is understood that it was an extremely difficult deal to get done due to the fact that Wague has been on loan from Granada since 2014.

Nevertheless, after 11 hours of negotiations, Leicester have landed the 25-year-old centre-back with the option to make the deal permanent at season's end.

Wague told LCFC.com: "I'm delighted to be at Leicester City and I can't wait to get started.

"It's a wonderful Club and I'm excited to have the chance to show what I can do in the Premier League with the champions.

"I've always wanted to play in England so I'm looking forward to the challenge and to getting to know my new team-mates over the coming weeks.

"I'll work hard to get my chance and when it comes I hope to show that I will give everything to help the team."
