Juventus have signed Frosinone defender Federico Gatti.
Juve have paid €10m for Gatti, who remains on-loan with Frosinone this season.
Juve said in a statement:
“Physical strength, excellent vision and an acute ability to read the game. This is the identikit of Federico Gatti, a Turin-born defender with plenty of promise.
“Juventus have bought him outright from Frosinone, and although Federico has signed a contract that ties him to Juventus until 30 June, 2026, he will stay for the remainder of the 2021/22 season on loan at the Serie B club.
“Right footed and strong in the air, Gatti is a defender with an eye for goal. He has already scored three this season in Serie B, in what has been a positive first experience in the Italian second division. His performances have always been above average and if Frosinone have the third-best defensive record in the league, it is also down to him.
“So far, with 21 appearances, 19 as a starter, he has been important for Frosinone and will continue to be so until the end of the season.
“In the meantime, a warm welcome. We're here waiting for you, Federico!"
