Inter Milan defender Lorenzo Pirola has penned a new contract.

Pirola has signed a deal to 2027 ahead of joining Salernitana on-loan. The deal includes a €5m permanent option.

“I am happy, it's all signed," he said.

"I have very positive sensations about my experience with Salernitana, both from my teammates and the staff.

“We want to have a great season. The objective is to secure safety and we want to achieve that. Afterwards, the objective is to come back to Inter, as I went through their entire youth academy process and I am an Interista."
