Huesca have announced Manchester City midfielder Yangel Herrera has joined them on loan until the end of the season.

The highly rated Venezuelan had spent the previous two years at New York City FC where he earned many fans with his tough tackling and dogged determination.

Herrera played 35 times in the Big Apple, scoring one goal, and he certainly made an impression with his performances which have caught the eye of several European clubs.

However, City see potential in the 21-year old and have decided to keep him on their books and loan him to the La Liga club instead, after he spent the last month training at City.
