Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud has completed his move to Chelsea on an 18 month contract for a reported £18m fee.

The French striker is set to take the No.18 shirt at Stamford Bridge.

"Chelsea is one of the biggest teams in the Premier League. They have won maybe the most trophies in the last six or seven years. It's a massive club and I am proud to sign for Chelsea, and I'm looking forward to playing."

However, Chelsea defender David Luiz is staying with the Blues despite talk of the Giroud deal involving the Brazilian moving in the opposite direction.
