Arsenal have completed the signing of Norwegian winger George Lewis.
While Arsenal are yet to officially confirm the transfer, Jostein Jensen - sporting director of Lewis' former club Fram Larvik - claims the youngster has signed for the Premier League giants.
“Yes, we can confirm that. I have been told that he has signed for Arsenal," Jensen told VG.
Lewis, born in Kigali, Rwanda, began his footballing career playing in the youth set-up at Tromso 2 and has spent the majority of his youth career playing in the Norwegian third tier.
While relatively unknown in his age group, it is believed Lewis impressed Arsenal coaches during a two-week trial earlier in March.
He is expected to link up with Steve Bould's Under-23s development squad, rather than the first team, should the deal be confirmed.
