Former Everton goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic has signed for Los Angeles FC in the United States.

The 38-year-old had secured a short-term deal with the Toffees as they dealt with injuries in that position.

However, he did not make an appearance in that time, and has now moved on for more regular football.

LA FC have confirmed that Jakupovic has signed on the dotted line.

Their club co-president and general manager John Thorrington is extremely excited about the deal.

Thorrington said: “He is a goalkeeper with vast experience and tremendous leadership qualities, and we are excited to have him, his wife, and family as part of the club."
