Former Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is on his way to Celtic.
The 43-year-old, who left Bournemouth after eight years in charge last August, is reportedly finalising his backroom staff for the Parkhead job.
TalkSPORT says Howe has agreed to take on the challenge of wrestling the Scottish Premiership title back from Old Firm rivals Rangers.
Neil Lennon resigned as manager on February 24 with Celtic trailing Rangers by 18 points and John Kennedy took over as caretaker boss until the end of the season.
They will finish a campaign without any silverware for the first time since 2009-10.
