Everton U23 midfielder Lewis Warrington has officially signed for Tranmere Rovers on loan.

The youngster, who is only 19, will spend the next few months at the League Two club.

Warrington has been with Everton since he was six years old, and played 13 Premier League 2 games for the Under-23 side this term.

He will be hoping to help Tranmere finish the season successfully, as they are currently in second place in League Two.

Their next game against Stevenage on Tuesday may come too soon for Warrington, but he is likely to be involved for them over the weekend.
