DONE DEAL: Brentford snap up former Spurs, Arsenal midfielder Beaux Booth

Brentford have announced the signing of 17-year-old Beaux Booth from Dorking Wanderers.

The midfield player joins on a two-year scholarship and will initially be part of Neil MacFarlane's B Team.

The deal will also see an automatic six-month professional contract come into effect upon the completion of the scholarship term.

Beaux initially spent time within the youth systems at Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton & Hove Albion before he joined Arsenal at Under-15 level.

Discussing Beaux's arrival, Brentford B Head Coach Neil MacFarlane told the club's website: “Beaux came in for a trial period and he has shown that he's technically very gifted. We feel he has a good base to work with and we will look to add all the other elements to his game and get him used to our fixture programme and to our intensity.

“He's a central midfielder who can handle the ball and he has done really well since he's been in with us. He's an exciting prospect and we look forward to watching his development in the coming years."
