Aston Villa centre-back Diego Carlos has traveled with the rest of the squad for their mid-season tour.

The Premier League side are enjoying warm weather training in Dubai as they prepare for the rest of the domestic season.

Carlos, a summer signing from Sevilla, has not featured much due to sustaining an injury early in the season.

Per the Express and Star, he is not yet fully fit, but will join in with his teammates in training in the coming weeks.

The defender ruptured his Achilles tendon in August during a win over Everton.

New boss Unai Emery would be delighted to get Carlos on the pitch as soon as possible.
