Derby shop in Premier League for new striker

Derby County are shopping in the Premier League market for a new striker.

Derby boss Nigel Pearson is eager to put together a title winning squad for their promotion push.

The Mail on Sunday says Derby are looking to offload Jake Buxton to Wigan and have shown interest in Middlesbrough striker David Nugent and Manchester United's James Wilson.

The ambitious Championship club have also rejected an improved £7.5m offer from Burnley for midfielder Jeff Hendrick.
