Derby boss Lampard mocks 'impersonator' Bielsa

Derby County boss Frank Lampard had a new dig at Leeds United rival Marcelo Bielsa after last night's FA Cup shock at Southampton.

In a sensational sit-down with media, Bielsa revealed the incredible depth that they have gone to with regards watching opponents, including viewing ALL of their matches from both this season and the 2017-18 campaign.

He also stated that each game took him four hours to analyse and that he spies on opponents due to his own anxieties.

But Lampard, whose Derby side lost to Leeds last Friday, is far from impressed.

“Are you ready for my presentation? We do analysis too!" responded Lampard when asked about Bielsa's latest.

“Incredible. I have not seen what Bielsa said, I have heard about it. I don't want to say too much, it is what it is. We all know what has been happening.

“It is a Football League issue. It's every team. It's up to them to decide what goes on now.

“He gave an impression an impression of himself. I have not seen seen Jurgen Klopp do that, or Pep Guardiola or Mauricio Pochettino do that. They do it behind closed doors. They don't do it in public.

“It's simply probably a nice eye opener for the fan, because that is mostly done behind closed doors. It is part of football. It surprised me, definitely."
