Memphis Depay will need to show a lot more before he a regular starter for Manchester United.
The Dutch forward returned to the Red Devils starting line-up on Saturday and impressed in the 2-1 win over Watford, scoring the opening goal.
It was Depay's first league start since early October but performing well on one occasion does not mean his position is settled under Louis van Gaal.
Ahead of Wednesday night's Champions League meeting with PSV Eindhoven at Old Trafford, van Gaal said of Depay: "I am a coach who always demands not only one match but several matches.
"It is always the same procedure. I compare players and then, whoever I think fits best our gameplan, they shall play."
