English attacking midfielder Dele Alli has broken his silence regarding the struggles he is experiencing in the game.
Alli, who currently plays on loan for Besiktas from Everton, was substituted before halftime in a cup game against a Turkish third-division side.
With Besiktas losing 2-0 to Sanliurfaspor in the Turkish Cup in midweek, Alli was hauled off after 30 minutes to boos from the fans.
Alli went onto Instagram post-game, posting a photo that shows him hugging a football tight to his chest in Besiktas training.
He also added a caption that read: “You saved my life. That's why I will always love you," along with a football and heart emoji.
Alli's career has taken a remarkable fall since he was a highly rated youngster at Tottenham.
