Dele Alli has impressed in the first days of preseason training at Everton.

Everton insiders say the former Tottenham midfielder has arrived in good shape and has hit the ground running in the first weeks of presason.

The Liverpool Echo says some reports have suggested Alli is looking strong in these early pre-season training sessions - and the behind-the-scenes footage already released would back that up.

Alli signed for Everton from Spurs in January, but struggled to make an impact last season.

Blues manager Frank Lampard said in March: "I don't think we have to panic, to rush. When we signed Dele I certainly saw it as a long-term plan because I really have that massive belief in him as a player. At the moment he has contributed and he has to be patient and wait for his time at the start.
