Former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy sees Roberto de Zerbi as Jurgen Klopp's ideal successor at Anfield.

Murphy admits he's been impressed by De Zerbi's work at Brighton.

He said on talkSPORT: "I have the answer, so I'm not worried that Klopp will leave.

"I think (Roberto) De Zerbi is perfect. He will be ready to take over. I think his team plays fantastic football. He is a character, and has learned about the league in Brighton where he is doing really well. I don't see a better candidate.

"I think De Zerbi is for real. There's something about him. Having met him too, I can say he has a real presence. And I love the way his team plays."
