Chelsea transfers chief Piet de Visser is delighted with their summer swoop for Nathan.

The young Brazilian has been farmed out to Dutch partners Vitesse Arnhem, where De Visser says he can become an Eredivisie "sensation".

"This kid we has been followed since his fifteenth, sixteenth birthday," De Visser told Voetbal International.

"Two years ago we at Chelsea already told them to sign him.

"This year, after much hassle on my side, it finally worked."

De Visser added: "If he is going to play, he can be a sensation in the Eredivisie."
