Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is set to miss the second leg of the Red Devils' Europa League clash with FC Midtjylland on Thursday.
De Gea sustained a knee injury during the warm-up for the first leg of the tie against the Danish outfit last week and was also absent for Monday's 3-0 FA Cup win over Shrewsbury.
United boss Louis van Gaal confirmed the Spaniard would not be fit for the return fixture at Old Trafford, with the Premier League club looking to overturn a 2-1 deficit.
"I was hoping for that but he shall not be involved, that is certain," van Gaal said.
