DC United head coach Tom Soehn believes recent signings Julius James and David Habarugira will imprve further and help strengthen his squad.
The club acquired James from Houston Dynamo and Soehn has faith that the Trinidad & Tobago international will soon produce his best.
"I don't think (James) has reached his potential," Soehn said.
"We have to make sure we get him back to where he was with his (foot skills). I think we can make him better with the ball."
As for Habarugira, who joined from Belgian club Anderlecht, Soehn is delighted he has a reliable centre-half.
"He is pretty versatile, pretty polished," he said of the 21-year old Belgian.
