David Ospina is weighing up his future at Napoli.

The former Arsenal goalkeeper is regarded as second fiddle to Alex Meret.

“In modern football it's never easy to play regularly, but David's a goalkeeper with unique security," agent Lucas Jamarillo told Deportes.

“He battled with Meret to be the starter and Gattuso gave him confidence. David knows how to play with his feet and that's what the Napoli coach likes.

“Despite that, the club has invested a lot in Meret and a decision on [Ospina's] future will be made in the summer."

The representative was then asked whether a move to Boca Juniors was possible.

“They say anything in Argentina. They wanted him in the past and asked us something but, when we talk about numbers, interest wanes because David has a nice contract in Europe and getting those wages in South America is complicated."
