Southampton are keeping tabs on Dutch youngster Dario Tanda.

Saints were ready to sign the 20 year-old midfielder this month, but the deal has been postponed due to illness.

Tanda remains on amateur terms at FC Twente, having turned down a pro contract offer during the summer. He had trials with Saints before Christmas. Twente Sports says the youngster retains hope of eventually moving to Saints this year. He is currently playing for Jong FC Twente.
