Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has promoted more youngsters to senior training this week.
United host Europa League opponents Omonia Nicosia on Thursday.
With a match against Newcastle also to come this weekend, Ten Hag could use the European tie as an opportunity to play a rotated team, and with it, give opportunities to a number of exciting youngsters.
Charlie McNeill, Joe Hugill, Shola Shoretire, Isak Hansen-Aarøen, Dan Gore, Kobbie Mainoo, and Sam Murray were all involved in United senior training, while regular first-teamers Zidane Iqbal and Alejandro Garnacho also took part, reports the Manchester Evening News.
United still have plenty of work to do if they are to secure qualification for the knockout rounds of the tournament.
However, with a packed fixture schedule and a few injury worries at senior level, there is certainly a good chance that some of those academy hopefuls will get a first-team call-up later this week.
