The father of Manchester City defender Karim Rekik feels he's proving himself this season at PSV Eindhoven.
Rekik has played an influential role in PSV's charge to the top of the Eredivisie table after joining on-loan in August.
Mo Rekik is proud of his son's form and told Eindhoven Dagblad: "Last year, it wasn't always easy for my boy.
"But this season he's made a big impression. He's still only 20, sometimes people forget that."
Rekik is tied to City until 2016.
