Crystal Palace winger Andros Townsend is up for the Puskas "best goal" award.

There are a total of ten nominees from the men's and women's game in the past year.

Townsend's goal against Manchester City in December 22 is among those nominated for the prestigious Puskas Award.

Others on the list include Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Lionel Messi.

Italian veteran Fabio Quagliarella also has a place among the nominees for his strike against Napoli in Serie A.

Billie Simpson and Amy Rodriguez are among the women nominees for the award.
