Crystal Palace failed with two foreign deals on deadline day

Crystal Palace failed to make two major signings as the deadline dropped last night.

Sky Sports says Palace failed to force through a late deals for Lille midfielder Ibrahim Amadou and Brondby goalkeeper Fred Ronnow.

Amadou travelled to London by train to complete a switch to Palace. When it became apparent a deal might not go through, Amadou reportedly pleaded with Lille to allow him his dream Premier League move.

But Lille could not source a replacement in time.

Palace's move for Ronnow also fell through as Brondby couldn't find someone to replace the goalkeeper.
