The defender has an offer from Jamaica to play for their national team moving forward.

Per The Mail, Mitchell is now considering the offer, as he was not in the England squad this time around.

Gareth Soutgate decided to pick no left backs, rather than give Mitchell a chance to impress.

The Three Lions will likely use Kieran Trippier as a left-back, which is a blow to Mitchell.

He last featured for the Three Lions in March 2022, but never played in a competitive game.
