Crystal Palace are growing confident of securing Ebe Eze to a new contract.

Palace resisted pressure from Manchester City and Newcastle United over the summer for the midfielder.

The London Evening Standard says talks are now at an advanced stage with Eze's camp over a new deal worth £100,000-a-week.

And there is a confidence that Eze is ready to put pen to paper.

Palace also intend to soon open new contract talks with club captain Marc Guehi.
