Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson says he isn't thinking about his contract as it runs down.

The Eagles manager, 73, signed a one-year extension to his deal earlier this year to take his contract up to the end of this season.

Asked about his future in south London, Hodgson said he had not given it much consideration: "No, not at all.

"I am perfectly happy with my situation at the moment. There are certain cans that you are happier kicking down the road so I will continue kicking this one down the road until such time that a decision maybe necessary.

"At the moment we have a big programme coming up, we've had quite a good start to the season and we really want to keep that going. I don't think it is the right moment for me to start muddying any waters by discussing my own personal situation."
