Crystal Palace could make a late striker signing in the transfer window, with the club in talks to sign two forwards.

Jordan Hughill of Preston is a target for Roy Hodgson, but the Championship side want more than the £8 million offered by them in August.

According to Sky Sports, Palace are also in discussions to bring in Alexander Sorloth from FC Midtjylland in Denmark.

They drew 1-1 with West Ham on Tuesday night with Christian Benteke netting the equaliser, just his second Premier League goal so far this season.
