Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle says its up to the players to make themselves available for their clash with Blackburn Rovers.
The manager called a group meeting on Wednesday to explain the true extent of Fabrice Muamba's condition which, while vastly improved, remains a long way from the "laughing and joking" described in some reports over the last couple of days.
"If they feel they are not ready, then they will not play. I have never asked a player to play if they are not ready for that game.
"This is the best sport in the world but when something as serious as this happens, it puts it all into perspective." "When I spoke to them as a group, I stressed that we are all different individually," Coyle said. "We react with different emotions and I said that if anyone felt it had been traumatic, or that anyone felt they needed someone to speak to, then they only needed to let me know.
