Corinthians have warned Arsenal off midfielder Paulinho.

The midfielder is the subject of a £9 million bid from the Gunners.

But Corinthians president Mario Gobbi said: "We will not consider any proposal. The case of Paulinho is irreversible. The contract has already been done, he is very happy, very much wants to continue and we wanted him to stay too.

"The matter is closed."
