FC Copenhagen sporting director Peter Christiansen has welcomed Roony Bardghji.

The 17 year-old Swedish superkid has just penned terms to 2025.

"It has been a long process, but we have found something now that we think is reasonable and fair, and so do Roony and his family," said Christansen.

"Now it had to be closed so he can focus on what he loves most, which is playing football. I know he has a coach who really appreciates him - and vice versa.

"We have spent many hours on this. It is also fair enough, you want to be sure of your case. On the other hand, there are also some principles and attitudes from our side, so it has taken its time.

"There has also been a change of coach along the way, which has meant that we have taken some breaks. It is good and important that it is in place, and now we are looking forward."
