Contract talks on hold ahead of Euro campaign - Hodgson

England manager Roy Hodgson has once again made it clear that any contract talks will have to wait until the completion of England's Euro2016 qualifying campaign.

Hodgson's current contract with the Football Association runs up until the end of 2016.

?"At the moment we have important talks ahead of us, but it's all very well to talk," Hodgson said.

?"We have still got six qualifiers to play and that is a big enough challenge.

?"What I have said all along is what Greg [Dyke] has said, so we are all singing from the same hymn sheet in that respect."

?Recently, FA Chairman Greg Dyke also expressed the same opinion about Hodgson's contract situation.

?When asked about contract situation, Dyke said: "I get on quite well with Roy and I chat to him all the time. We have not talked about contracts yet. We genuinely haven't discussed it.

?"We will have the discussion with Roy in the next nine months to a year. When we decided in Brazil that we wanted Roy to continue with his contract, we thought - 'he's got a contract, he sees it through'. Sometime in the next year we will discuss what happens afterwards."
