The 20-year-old has been the subject of interest from Italian clubs in recent months and something more concrete may well come of that in the January transfer window.

He said: "All I want to do is play. Football is my life and I'm frustrated when I don't get a game.

"At the moment my plan is take it one day at a time and see what happens.

"The most important thing is that I keep on working hard and continue to believe in myself. There is nothing more I can do."
