Inter Milan have placed Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante at the top of their summer wishlist.
It was reported last week in Italy that Inter were considering a move for the World Cup winner, who has struggled with injuries this season.
And Corriere dello Sport - via Sport Witness - says that interest has now firmed and Inter will push to entice the 28-year-old away from Stamford Bridge.
This is at the behest of former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, who wants to recruit a top-tier midfielder.
Kante was an integral cog in Conte's 2016/17 Premier League title winning side.
It would take a mammoth fee to convince Chelsea to sell, with Kante possessing three years left on his contract.
