West Ham United midfielder Joe Cole has warned fans they're not yet safe.

Cole insists they can't relax until they hit the 40 points barrier.

He told Absolute Radio: "You're never comfortable until you get to about 40 points, but I think it'll probably end up being be a lot lower this year. But we've got a six, seven point cushion on the teams below us, we've got four or five homes games that we can win, you know, we're quite comfortable.

"And we'd prefer to be looking to try and get in the top ten, which would be, Big Sam would've done a great job, coming up with the first chance and trying to push on for the top ten in the first year back in the Prem, that's what we're looking at, rather than over our shoulders."
