Aston Villa veteran Joe Cole insists the resignation of Roy Keane has not affected the players.

Keane quit as assistant manager on the eve of their draw at Burnley.

Cole insisted that had not had an effect, saying: "It's a Premier League club, things happens, things go up and down, people come and people go. We just focused on performing and I thought the boys played well."
