Joe Cole was full of praise for Stewart downing after West Ham United's victory over Cardiff City.
Cole was speaking to Ian Wright on Absolute Radio's Rock N Roll Football after the opening day win.
"Stuart Downing, I have to say was brilliant today. You know what you're going to get with Stu, he's a proper winger. He's changed his game and caused all sorts of problems when he came on. The squad looks strong with Vaz Te to come back to full fitness, Nolan, Maiga, Jarvis, everyone's looking sharp so we've got a lot to look forward to."
