Coady reveals Wolves working hard in Marbella

Wolves captain Conor Coady insists they are not on holiday in Marbella as they engage in some warm weather training.

The Premier League side want to continue their recent uptrend in the league, which has seen them emerge as a challenger for a Europa League place.

They are also preparing for the busy Christmas period, which brings games every few days for English sides.

The team set off for Marbella after their 2-2 draw with Brighton in the league on Sunday.

Speaking about the trip, captain Coady told reporters: "It's to refresh, it is a change of scenery. We have a real tough run of games and I think it is important that these times come and we make the most of them because they are brilliant little breaks.

"It is something we do quite often. The manager likes to do it.

"It is fantastic for the boys to be together and train, spend time together, have dinner together and do a few bits.

"We just need to make sure we are refreshed for Thursday. We have a big run of games now coming up this Christmas. All we want to do is improve, every day, every week, every game. It's Christmas, there's a big, tough period of games coming up, we need to make sure we are ready for that but we can say we're improving - that is the main aim."
