Manchester City fullback Gael Clichy is urging Dedryck Boyata to grab his chance.

The young Belgian is an option for right-back after a rash of injuries to senior teammates.

Clichy told City's website: "Dedryck Boyata has doing very well in training since the summer and this could be his chance to get a few games but it's the decision of the manager.

"With a team like ours we want to play in all of the competitions and there's a time when you have to deal with injuries."
