Fuchs' wife and children are based in Manhattan while he earns his living in the east Midlands.
Fuchs said: “I feel the interest in Manhattan. There are so many people coming over to me, saying 'Hey, Leicester.' It is insane.
“Leicester are at least everyone's second favourite team - if not their favourites. It isn't only our friends in Manhattan, they go crazy for Leicester.
“This should not be happening but that is the beauty of it, that it can. I think it is really good for the league itself.
“It is something different, something people are getting excited about not just in England but all around the world. Now we want to achieve something unbelievable."
